BPD will draft (a) policies, and (b) accompanying or implicated resources regarding protocols for "all officers returning to duty following a traumatic incident (e.g. serious injury, officer-involved shooting, officer-involved accident involving fatality, or all other uses of force resulting in death or serious injury)" (¶ 439), and for use "during officer deployments during public demonstrations or civil unrest" (the "Draft Traumatic and High-Stress Incident Protocols"). (¶ 440).
